it's Sam after a ridiculously long break. I'm sorry for just disappearing without a word but the last semester was a brutal mess and I was also taking summer uni courses until recently. However in the long gap I was gone, I've gotten a bunch of new stuff (makeup, clothing, and skincare) and I can't wait to share my thoughts with you and hear your opinions! Also, keep an eye out because I'll be having a little blogsale soon to clear out the makeup that I give no love :( hehehe. My sale will include items from MAC, Chanel, Dior, and Urban Decay to name a few so stay tuned! See you guys soon~
it's Sam. Just wanted to share a quick FOTD!
I had to interview someone today for a uni project and I wanted to do a simple and subtle look. I tried to go for a more professional "nice complexion, soft eyes" look - nice but not exaggerated or daring. I did a thin winged liner and used my 2 most neutral shades - a grey champagne (base) and soft charcoal brown (outer V). I didn't even both lining my upper waterline (which I usually do 99% of the time) because I wanted a softer look. No lower waterline liner as well because I think I look "fresher" without XD - I usually only line the lower waterline if I want a heavier or bolder eye.

So the makeup that I used:
Face: Diorskin Nude Natural Glow Foundation (010 Ivory)
Nanoce Mineral BB Powder (set)
Eyebrows: MAC Carbon (applied with angled brush)
Eyes: Excel liquid eyeliner (black)
Maybelline One by One waterproof mascara
Shu Uemura lash curler
The palette I used was the first palette I've ever owned/used hahaha. It's the Clinique Plum Seduction trio (I think it's actually a quad in real life - mine is a trio only because it was a GWP).

That's all for today (I know, what a short random post XD). Enjoy your weekend!
so I'm back with my promised Dior foundation review! Today I'll be talking about the Dior Diorskin Nude Natural Glow Hydrating Makeup Foundation.

I've been eyeing this foundation for years - I've swatched it a couple times in store and it has tons of positive reviews - but for some reason or another, I just never got around to actually purchasing the foundation. However, after a disastrous encounter with the famous Makeup Forever HD foundation, I went back to Sephora and finally came away with my long coveted Diorskin Nude in the shade 010. I'm so happy I finally bought this foundation - I absolutely love it! While there are a few cons, the pros more than outweigh the problems and this is definitely my HG foundation at the moment :)
